Halal Claims Policy

Under the Trade Descriptions (Definition of Halal) Order 2011 and JAKIM Manual Prosedur Pensijilan Halal Malaysia (MPPHM 2020), the word "halal" may only be applied to products that hold a valid JAKIM MS1500:2019 certificate.

Tenants warrant the validity of any uploaded halal certificate, including cert number and expiry date. WayangAI auto-suspends halal copy generation when a certificate expires or is revoked. The JAKIM logo may not be reproduced without licensing.

Unauthorised halal claims attract penalties up to RM250k / 5 years (TDA 2011).
